– Videos can be files on your device, or they can come from a DLNA (UPnP) media server on your Wi-Fi network.

– Subtitle support includes SRT, SSA, and VTT.

– Video format support includes MP4, MKV, AVI, FLV, and more.

– Audio transcoding is supported, so encodings like DTS and AC3 will work even if the Chromecast / Roku device doesn’t support it.

– Video codec support is dependent on the device. Some Roku or Chromecast devices won’t support certain codecs. H264 video is usually a safe choice!
